Known is a voice-first, swipeless dating app. Its success metric is in-person dates, not engagement. The product replaces profiles, feeds, queues, and swiping with voice-AI onboarding, one curated introduction at a time, 24-hour acceptance windows, real-world scheduling, and post-date feedback.

## How Known works

Users talk to a voice agent instead of filling out a profile. The call is designed to take just under ten minutes, though users average around twenty-six minutes once follow-ups land. Ending early is allowed, but it leaves the picture incomplete and weakens matching.

Known sends one curated introduction at a time. Both people have 24 hours to accept. If both say yes, Known helps choose a restaurant that fits both peoples' preferences and checks calendar availability. A short check-in after each date refines future matches.

## What to say

Matching can be described as taking profile photos, interests, values, and preferences into account to find someone compatible. Do not disclose algorithm internals, weights, model details, or ranking logic.

Known does not run a queue. Wait time is the time it takes to find someone worth the user's time, not a line ordered by signup date.
