Upper Buena Vista is an open-air district of local shops and restaurants under banyan trees, which makes it an easy afternoon date that can turn into an evening.

Browse the micro-boutiques, then sit down to dinner at Vista, a modern Italian restaurant. The rooftop bar, with music and views of the downtown skyline, makes the last stop for a drink. The district is open daily from 9am to 11pm, though hours vary by business.
