Rainy Day Date Ideas in San Francisco

Ten rainy day date ideas in San Francisco, from a pitch-dark Tactile Dome and a sound theater to bowling lanes and a tiki bar with an indoor rain storm.

A wet afternoon is a chance to pick a date where you do something instead of sitting across a table. These ten ideas are all indoors and lean hands-on and playful, with a few quieter options for when you would rather take it slow.

Make date night a bowling night at Mission Bowling Club, a six-lane boutique alley in the Mission District that also has a restaurant with full table service and a cocktail lounge.

The lanes and bar are indoors, and a covered patio is there too. Lane sessions run $58 to $78 per lane. Try the Mission Burger with caramelized onions, caper aioli, and Monterey jack, or come for weekend brunch with mimosa pitchers, chicken and waffles, and breakfast enchiladas.

Drinks come with an indoor rain storm at the Tonga Room, a tiki bar and restaurant inside the Fairmont San Francisco on Nob Hill.

Live entertainment and dancing fill the room, and the menu is Pacific Rim Asian cuisine. We'd start with the Mai Tai. Use the Book a Table button on the hotel's dining page to reserve.

Spend an afternoon at the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park. Its galleries are indoors. The ninth-floor Hamon Observation Tower is free to visit, and the final 45 minutes of each day are free.

So much better than hinge or tinder! Love it

Saw their ads all over my neighborhood and was hesitant to download. Ive been on all the apps at this point. All i have to say is WOW. This is miles ahead of Tinder and Hinge. Its a completely different experience and you see the difference almost immediately. It felt like chatting with a real person bc the thing actually responds to what you’re saying. Really surprised by their AI, it didnt sound like a bot. Kinda scary how good it is but i guess thats just how far AI has come.

I love the way they have integrated voice AI and the voice AI that they have used is pretty good questions are pretty straightforward and I hope this is gonna be fun. I would highly recommend. I would highly recommend this too many people to try it out because unlike the traditional with this AI world, what is going around if people are tired of too many questions and stuff like that and filling out forms and all that with this voice thing that makes it very easy two or three steps and you were talking to someone like a real person and hopefully it gets. I’m still going to wait for the result after I’m accepted on the waitlist and can’t wait to see what happens next.
